Consumer Critiques

This product description is rather misleading. Amazon lists the retail price tag as $28 decreased to 13.99 but the APC net site lists the value at 12.99.... a dollar less expensive than Amazon. The low price makes sense mainly because it only has 240 joules of surge protection per the APC specs (which amazon conveniently left out of the description). That makes it a small superior than an extension cord. If you want real surge protection make certain you get one thing with a substantially higher joule rating.

The APC Per7 surge arrest is truly great. With 7 sockets, it nearly has everything you want to put in. On the other hand, the sockets are incredibly close to each other, so if you are putting a massive adapter in it, it practically occupies three sockets, making the other two unusable.
I feel I produced a tiny mistake purchasing it. I highly advise going for the APC pro8T2 Surge arrest which is far better in all ways, and has a complete worth for income!
