I purchased this device given that it had good noise suppression along with it really is surge protection at a great value. The tight fit on connection is a sign of a high quality receptacle. The tighter the greater (at least up to a point). Hospital grade receptacles are the perfect and they are highly tight. I did not look at them overly tight and was surprised to see negative comments about that. The noise suppression was one thing I was looking for to isolate the computer system devices which can produce a lot of "digital" noise from the audio devices plugged into the exact same supply on my HT process. The energy strips/surge protectors sold for HT use are highly overpriced. A large number of surge protectors do not tell you if they have any noise protection or not so I would assume no. The actual specs on how considerably noise suppression is almost impossible to locate out, but my study on these CyberPower devices seemed to indicate they have at least a modest amount of noise and surge protection and given that I essential 3 to go into my cabinets, price was a aspect. They appear to be carrying out their job and I have not had any noise problems so more than all I would hugely recommend them at this cost point.
I liked that the plugs were appropriate-angle. I ordered two, but a single of the surge suppressors in no way worked. As a single of the other reviewers mentioned, it is a small troublesome to plug something in to these surge suppressors so if you have arthritis, this may possibly not be for you.
